  • We care about the 4 Ms: market, model, management and money (deal terms)

  • Long term contracts, strong cash generation, recurring revenue, low capital expenditure, fragmented sector

  • Most importantly of all, there has to be an angle i.e. a reason why we’ll be able to make a difference 

Focus

  • We adopt dual-track PE and VC strategies, taking significant stakes or buy outs of profitable companies as well as funding Series A/B rounds in pre-profit scale ups

  • We concentrate on undermanaged companies and help transform them

  • Typically invest £2m-£25m for significant stakes

  • Exit within 5-10 years for £50m-£200m

Specifics

  • Flexible on sector, but like technology enabled service providers

  • B2B is also a preference with the opportunity to create organic growth through high performance sales teams

  • Could be a low-tech or old economy company with the opportunity for digital transformation

  • Preference for protected business model and predictable income streams i.e. subscription income or low churn rates
